Rebecca’s Dream is committed to serving the community by promoting awareness and compassionate understanding of depression and bipolar disorder as real diseases. The scholarships are open to all Illinois high school seniors and gives them an opportunity to discuss important ways to reduce the stigma associated with mental illness. Scholarships are in memory of our Co-founder, Dr. Harlan Haimes.

Amazing weather, friendly competition and a beautiful course all added up to a fabulous day at the 1st Annual Rebecca’s Dream’s Golf Classic on October 10! The golfers and volunteers enjoyed spending World Mental Health Day at the Ravinia Green Country Club. Contests throughout the course kept the play light and friendly with hole challenges such as best putt, beat the pro, longest drive and closest to the pin.
Supporters mingled on the course and into the early evening over appetizers, awards and raffle presentations. The generous proceeds benefit Rebecca’s Dream’s mental health education and college scholarships. A great time was had by all and we look forward to our 2nd Annual 2023 Charity Golf Classic.
We would like to thank the golfers, volunteers, sponsors and the golf committee for all their hard work in making this event a success!
