Dear friends of Rebecca’s Dream,

Thank you for allowing us into your homes and hearts during this past year and the past nine years of our existence. You continue to support and strengthen our mission and vision with your constancy and love. We are only successful in fulfilling Rebecca’s Dream because you have our backs—you push us forward when we find ourselves weary and tired of swimming upstream. CHANGING THE FACE OF DEPRESSION is a continual work in progress. There’s no time for rest . . . mental illness never takes a day off.

We derive our strength from you, our loyal supporters, and from the words and actions of others whom we admire. For the last Voice of 2014, we’d like to share a few simple but powerful words that we hope you and your loved ones will find inspirational and encouraging as we welcome the start of 2015:

“Have the courage to be imperfect.”
–Rudolf Dreikurs

“There is nothing stronger than gentleness.”
–Abraham Lincoln

“Success is never final. Failure is never fatal. It’s courage that counts.”
–Winston Churchill

“Compassion is not a religious business; it is a human business. It is not luxury; it is essential for our own peace and mental stability. It is essential for human survival.”
–Dalai Lama

“Alone a stick is weak and easily broken but together the bundle is strong.”
–Anonymous

“Failure to act is often the biggest failure of all.”
–Coach John Wooden

We value your friendship and devotion, and we wish you good health, peace and contentment, joy and laughter in the New Year . . . and beyond.

With infinite love and gratitude,
Gail, Norm, and the Board of Directors of Rebecca’s Dream
